Drengestua is the oldest present farmhouse at Haugtun, it was built around year 1720. Here you get in touch with the past time while enjoying the benefits of our time such as water closet, shower and electric light. The kitchen has a fridge, stove, coffeemaker and kettle.
The attic has a bedroom with 4 beds and a second bedroom with two single bed. A maximum of 3 adults and three children can be accommodated here. We note that the design of the house is largely original, which is charming, but which also means that the stairs up to the attic are very steep!
The summer 2023 this house is under renovation. Hope to be finished by autumn 2023. Then it will be possible to stay here also in winter time.
You can hire bed linen and towels for NOK 200,- per person or you can bring it yourself.
The guests throw their rubbish into the respective bins by the road and clean and wash after themselves before leaving.
